Janeco Light Mix contains perlite, a porous volcanic rock which allows air to move through soil and provides roots with space to breathe.
 
Sufficient aeration is vital for root hair growth - the more root hairs, the greater the water and nutrient distribution around the plant. 
 
All in moderation
Over-fertilisation prevents plants from taking in enough water. This can lead to poor plant quality and dehydration, and may appear through yellowing or browning plants. Janeco Light Mix prevents overfeeding with just a light amount of nutrients, meaning you can add as needed and control the health of your plants.
 
Where to use Atami Janeco Lightmix?
This substrate works best in areas that remain humid all year round, and where temperatures are slightly lower than average. In the right environments, it is suitable for use at any time of year.
 
How to use Atami Janeco Lightmix?
The formula contains enough nutrients to keep plants fed for 2-3 weeks (depending on needs). Use regular fertiliser alongside after this period.
