Single-ended fixture
This Omega reflector requires a single-ended (SE) grow lamp. Similar to a traditional light bulb, the SE is only attached to its power source at one end.
Single-ended lamps are easier to install, making them an ideal first choice for beginner growers. They operate at lower temperatures than double-ended (DE) lamps, preventing hot spots and saving money and effort on cooling equipment.
However, SE bulbs tend to have a lower output than DE. If you’re a more experienced grower looking for the most uniform, high-intensity light, the Omega Medium DE Adjustable Flex Wing Reflector may be your best choice.
How to use Omega Adjustable Flex Wing Reflector?
Hang over the centre of the grow space or over the area you want to light. Attach to a jack chain and secure to the metal hanging hook on the top of the reflector.
To set the wing positions, insert the cable retaining nodule into the desired position on each wing.
Insert the bulb into the reflector, and plug the lead into your ballast.
